SEN Tutor – South East London\n\nJoin Our Team and Make a Real Difference\n\nWe are seeking a passionate, patient, and dedicated SEN Tutor to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across South East London.\n\nThis is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, or SEN professional who is committed to helping learners build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will provide high-quality, personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils with a range of additional needs, including:\n\n * Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD)\n\n * ADHD\n\n * Dyslexia\n\n * SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs\n\n * Moderate Learning Difficulties\n\n * Speech, Language and Communication Needs\n\nSessions may take place in the learner's home, school, community setting, or online.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons\n\n * Adapt teaching approaches to suit each learner's needs\n\n * Build positive relationships with pupils and families\n\n * Monitor progress and provide feedback\n\n * Support learners in developing confidence, independence, and academic skills\n\n * Maintain accurate session records\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * Experience working with children or young people with SEN\n\n * Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies\n\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\n * Ability to build rapport and motivate learners\n\n * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)\n\n * Right to work in the UK\n\nDesirable\n\n * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)\n\n * SEN qualifications or training\n\n * Experience delivering English and/or Maths tuition\n\n * Experience working with EHCP targets\n\n * Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support work experience\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * Competitive hourly rates\n\n * Flexible working hours\n\n * Ongoing support and professional development\n\n * Opportunities for long-term placements\n\n * The chance to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives\n\nLocation\n\n * South East London (including Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley, Southwark, and surrounding areas)\n\nApply Today\n\nIf you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and want to be part of a team that values inclusion, creativity, and positive outcomes, we would love to hear from you.\n\nApply now with your CV and a brief covering statement outlining your SEN experience and availability.\n\nHelp learners thrive, achieve, and believe in themselves
