Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer\nHampshire, Southampton, Winchester, Romsey\n£44 - 56k per annum\nOur client, an international engineering organisation with a base near Winchester, is now looking to recruit a Design Engineer (3D) to join the business on a permanent basis.\nPrimary Role Functions:\nTo create/generate/design 3D assemblies from preliminary layout drawings and concepts with the aim to then produce 2D GA and detail drawings for fabrication.\nJob requirements:\n• Hold “clean” UK driving license.\n• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar related degree).\n• 5+ years related job experience.\n• Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanical design and its application in industrial designs including knowledge / specification of hydraulic systems, motors & mechanical systems.\n• Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in team environment.\n• Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.\n• Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment.\n• Travel as required to support projects
